Batter Up! 2007 - 36" x 48" finished size This quilt was inspired by my son Cole when he was 7 years old and a Little League baseball player. The quilt was modeled from a picture (see pix by clicking Detail button below) taken when he was quite a bit younger in 2002. He insisted he be wearing his 2007 baseball uniform in the quilt. This quilt won two local quilt shows Best of Show ribbons and went on to AQS in Nashville. It was seen at AQS by Klaudeen Hansen and will appear in the 2009 AQS Quilting Calendar. Many of my students have asked if I would make a pattern of this guy. I made the pattern and it is available on the online Zebra Patterns store. Click here to see pattern.
