Chickadee

$10.00
SKU: 50008

The Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus) is found across the northern United States and Canada, from the Pacific to the Atlantic coast. It is the state bird of Maine and Massachusetts, and the provincial bird of New Brunswick. A year-round resident that does not migrate, it survives harsh winters by caching food and entering a controlled hypothermia each night to conserve energy. Its distinctive two-note whistled call — fee-bee — is one of the most familiar sounds in North American woodlands.

This series is designed to create beautiful hangings for yourself or as gifts. Finished size individually as 20" x 20" wall hangings, or you can create an entire 64" x 80" quilt with any 12. Each pattern includes complete and clear instructions with diagrams and a full sized positioning sheet for assembly. The pattern pieces are computer drawn and professionally printed for ease of use. No tracing or reversing. Each pattern package features a full color image of the completed quilt.
