Flying Handkerchief

$10.00
SKU: 60006

The Flying Handkerchief (Idea leuconoe) is found across coastal Southeast Asia and the western Pacific, known for its slow, drifting flight that gives it an almost languid presence in the forest. Its translucent white wings, lightly veined in black, are among the more delicate-looking in the Danaidae family. In parts of the Philippines, it is commonly seen in butterfly sanctuaries and is one of the species most often used in live butterfly exhibits worldwide.
