Tina Turner was born in Brownsville Tennessee. She was an American-born singer, known as the “Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll”. Tina’s notoriety began when she was the lead singer of the Ike & Turner Revue. Later she launched her career as a solo performer. She is best known for her powerful voice and endless energy. Tina received 12 Grammy Awards and is thought to be one of the best-selling recording artists of all time.
