Yellow Warbler

$10.00
SKU: 51009

The Yellow Warbler (Setophaga petechia) has one of the broadest breeding ranges of any North American warbler, nesting from Alaska across Canada and throughout the United States into Central America. It is a long-distance migrant, wintering from Mexico to Peru and Brazil. The male is among the most uniformly yellow birds on the continent, with fine chestnut streaking on the breast. It is a frequent host of Brown-headed Cowbird eggs and is notable for sometimes building a new nest floor directly over parasitized eggs rather than abandoning the clutch.

This series is designed to create beautiful hangings for yourself or as gifts. Finished size individually as 20" x 20" wall hangings, or you can create an entire 64" x 80" quilt with any 12.
