Vermillion Flycatcher

$10.00
SKU: 51008

The Vermilion Flycatcher (Pyrocephalus rubinus) ranges from the southwestern United States south through Central and South America, favoring open areas near water such as riparian woodlands, desert washes, and pond edges. The male's brilliant crimson crown and underparts contrast sharply with dark brown upperparts, making it one of the most visually distinctive flycatchers in the Americas. It is a year-round resident across much of its range, though northern populations in the U.S. Southwest may move south in winter.

This series is designed to create beautiful hangings for yourself or as gifts. Finished size individually as 20" x 20" wall hangings, or you can create an entire 64" x 80" quilt with any 12.
